Amid violent protests, Asia Bibi of Pakistan seeks asylum

The Christian woman in Pakistan who was on death row for blasphemy rules was acquitted last week by the country’s top court. She is seeking asylum elsewhere now as violent protests have swept the country demanding her death. She had been convicted in 2010 after what was considered to be a blasphemy in the Muslim country.
