Daesh defences in the east smashed by US-backed Syrian forces

The forces led by the Kurdish have moved deep into Hajjin, the major village in the last pocket which is still under the control of the Daesh group in eastern Syria. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, “The SDF managed to break the defenses of the Daesh group after massing a large number of fighters backed by the international coalition.”
