The genocide attack that took place in Rwanda twenty-five years ago has continued for a span of three months. The attack had taken the lives of 800,000 people and the country of Rwanda has now begun a ceremony to commemorate the lives of all those moderate Hutus and Tutsi who were murdered. The ceremony took place in the Gisozi genocide memorial site where a quarter of the millions of people who had lost their lives are buried. The President of the country Paul Kagame placed a wreath on the memorial site while in the national soccer stadium a candlelit vigil was also held.
