Sri Lanka advised to take care of its minorities and respect human rights

The Amnesty International urged the Sri Lankan authorities to uphold human rights under the state of emergency that has been declared in the island after two major attacks on the Muslim community in the country. The Sri Lankan authorities are determined to take necessary steps to prevent such incidents.
