Mosques in UAE to reopen for Friday prayers from December 4

Mosques across UAE will reopen for Friday prayers, starting from December 4, while strictly adhering to COVID-19 precautionary measures, announceed Dr Saif Al Dhaheri, Spokesperson of the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) on Tuesday.

Guidelines

Mosques will be reopen with 30 per cent capacity.

Worshipers should wear masks and bring their own prayer rugs.

Mosques will be open 30 minutes before Friday prayers.

The duration of the sermon together with the prayer should not exceed 10 minutes.

Worshippers to bring their own copies of the holy Quran.
