4:01U.S. official says Ukraine’s Donbas ‘not lost yet’ as Russia says goals not limited to region

U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley said on Wednesday that the Donbas region, where Russia has been focusing its efforts on taking during the war with Ukraine, was “not lost yet” as Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov warned the country’s objectives in Ukraine were not limited to that specific area.

Zelenskyy, speaking in a late-night video address, said the meeting had discussed the supply of modern weapons, adding the intensity of attacks on the Russians had to be stepped up.
