5:08B.C. health officials say contact tracing no longer an effective tool to fight COVID

B.C. health officials say contact tracing is no longer an effective tool to fight COVID-19. Provincial health officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, said Friday that with the widespread of the Omicron variant and the rapid rise in cases, contact tracing is no longer an effective tool against COVID. She said everyone should self-monitor and check every day for symptoms and if they feel well enough to go to school, work or daycare, then they should go.
